PLAY GROUP

We start building early. Every child in their first year at Lilliput Nursery learns to...

 

Get Social:

  • Make new friends, learn interaction skills 

  • Play together; Pray together

  • Develop good habits and basic knowledge of Indian cultures & festivals

Get Creative:

  • Through various activities like painting, clay-moulding, etc.

  • Through poems, songs and dances at various academic celebrations

  • Through various outdoor & indoor games and activities

 Get Cognitive:

  • Through indoor games and sessions designed for child's cognitive development

  • Lessons on poetries, singing and story-telling

  • Lessons on recognising alphabets, objects & images

* Children of age more than 2 years 3 months on first academic day of the school are eligible for Play Group admissions.

Nursery

NURSERY

In the second year we ensure an enjoyable learning experience and make it as interactive as possible in order to further develop the curiosity in our children to explore and learn new things. Our Nursery children learn to:

Build Right Attitude:

  • Develop positive attitude towards academics 

  • Get curious to get to school and explore new things

  • Further develop good habits and learns to love and respect their peers and teachers

Conversations:

  • With teacher and other children In a formal classroom

  • Use 'the magic words' in practice in their day to day conversations

Begin Active Learning:

  • They explore and experience knowledge through real objects in encouraging and supportive environment Nursery children begin active learning through interaction and participation 

  • Already ahead of their curve, they can read, write and recognise alphabets, numbers and objects

  • We ensure they are equally active in extra-curriculars including creative art and learning our culture and values.

JUNIOR K.G.

Junior

Half way through their journey building strong foundations for future academic years, our children in the third year expand their general knowledge in areas including environment and  culture. They become more active alongside developing their flair in reading, writing and communicating skills:

Physical Development:

  • Through fun games and yoga-inspired class exercises and sports

  • They learn and develop their hand-eye coordination, control, and movements 

  • Dances and dramas on numerous celebrations during academic year

Literacy & Numeracy:​ 

  • Reading and writing become their habit; they learn through stories & poems. 

  • ​Next level up in playing with numbers, 2D/3D shapes and sizes

  • Learn to clarify information, develop ideas and solve problems 

​

General Knowledge:

  • Learn about the world they live in and country they belong to

  • By actively participating in cultural events through the academic year

  • Learn about mother earth, environment and patriotism

Senior

SENIOR K.G.

Final year of their journey with us, our senior kids advance their learnings to a level that place s them at the fore to excel in future academic years. They are well prepared for any entrance examinations taken by senior schools and are in strong position to secure their admissions in primary schools on merit. 

Personal, Social & Emotional Development:

  • Develop interest, motivation & inquisitiveness for range of learning opportunities 

  • Develop tendency to learn independently and ability to concentrate

  • Understand cultures, patriotism and learn to respect and value others.

Language & General Knowledge:​ 

  • Introduced to grammar, increasingly understand the use of English language

  • Learn to listen and effectively communicate

  • Develop curiosity to learn more about earth, environment and their surroundings​

Physical Development & Creative Arts:

  • Advance their artistic skills acquired in previous years

  • They dance, tell stories through puppets, play dramas & do enactments.

  • They get artistic with origami, drawing, clay moulding and building blocks

Literacy & Numeracy:

  • Ace in these areas, they write for a range of stories, poems, essays, etc

  • Learn to solve simple calculations through relevant practical experiences

  • Well prepared for their primary school years
